ProAmerica Bank Appoints Salinas as New Chairwoman

ProAmerica Bank announced that Founding Organizer/Director Maria S. Salinas was appointed as Chairwoman of the Board. Salinas adds to the strong, and qualified Board of Directors, many of whom are founding organizers. She will succeed Founding Chairwoman Maria Contreras-Sweet who was sworn into office on April 7th by Vice President Joe Biden. Contreras-Sweet joins President Barack Obama’s cabinet as the Administrator of the United States Small Business Administration.

Roski, Chairman of Salinas,Maria-ProAmerica-BankMajestic Realty, said Salinas is equipped with a solid financial acumen as a CPA and has a strong commitment and leadership in the community. He added that these traits give Salinas “insights into our target market and provide her firsthand knowledge to build on the mission of ProAmerica Bank.” The Directors look forward to Salinas’ professionalism and leadership on the Board.

Salinas has over 20 years of experience in accounting in the public and private industries. In 2010, she was the recipient of the Professional Services Award by the National Latina Business Women’s Association of Los Angeles. She is currently the President and Founder of Salinas Consulting, LLC, a finance and accounting project management firm.
