Ritzmann Joins Heritage Bank

Heritage Bank in Union, Kentucky welcomes Matthew Ritzmann as Vice President and Commercial Lender. In his new role, Ritzmann will be responsible for the management of commercial loan portfolios and the development of profitable relationships with many of the Bank’s key constituents.

Ritzmann brings with him more than 10 years of experience in the banking industry. He Ritzmann,Matthew-Heritage-Bankpossesses a wealth of commercial lending knowledge that will serve him well as the Bank’s new Vice President. Prior to joining Heritage Bank, Ritzmann served the United Community Bank as Commercial Lending Officer and later on as Vice President of Lending. There he played an integral role in developing the commercial loan department of the bank. He also headed the implementation of a more streamlined credit memo meant to reduce the time between application and closing. He is an expert at commercial lending, loans, and mortgage lending.

Ritzmann obtained the American Bankers Association Commercial Lending Diploma, and attended the Indiana Bankers Association Commercial Lending School. He is a graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. In addition, he is active in Kiwanis and the Tri-State League of Financial Institutions.
