UMB Bank Adds Clayton as Vice President in Wichita

UMB Bank, a subsidiary of UMB Financial Corp., announced that it has hired Cari Clayton as Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Lender for the Wichita team. In her new role, Clayton will be responsible for business development and client relationship management for commercial clients in Wichita.

Clayton brings with her more than 14 years of experience in commercial lending Clayton,Cari-UMB-Bankand banking industry. She is an expert in small business lending, financial analysis, banking, strategic planning, and credit analysis. Prior to joining UMB Bank, she was a commercial lender for Intrust Bank. She held various executive positions in different banking institutions, including Commerce Bank, Fidelity Bank, and Telecheck.

UMB Bank’s new Senior Commercial Lender is also active in the local community. She is currently the Director of Sustaining Relations at the Junior League of Wichita, and was Director of Fund Development for the same organization. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees at Botanica Wichita, and one of the Board of Directors at Miracles, Inc.

Clayton obtained both her Master’s degree in Business Administration, major in Finance, and Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the Wichita State University.
