Nevada State Bank Hires Barajas as VP, SBA BDO

Nevada State Bank announced the hiring of Ivette Barajas as Vice President, SBA Business Development Officer. As VP, Ms. Barajas will be responsible for the growth of the Bank’s SBA lending that meets the guidelines of the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Ms. Barajas has more than 16 years of experience in business Ivette Barajas Nevada State Bankdevelopment, underwriting and relationship management. She previously served on several business banking teams for various national banks in the Las Vegas Valley.

Carolyn Crockett, Senior Vice President and SBA Manager of Nevada State Bank, commented, “We are excited to have Ivette bring her talent and expertise to better serve our clients.” She added that Ms. Barajas’ experience specializing in business banking makes her a great asset for the bank and their clients.

Ms. Barajas is an active and distinguished member of the community. In 2013, she was recognized as VIP Women of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women. She is a member of the Latin Chamber of Commerce, the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting as well as the Nevada Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. Ms. Barajas also is a volunteer at the Junior Achievement and the Boys & Girls Club Mentoring Program.

Ms. Barajas obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
