Hanmi Financial Corp. Names Randall G. Ewig as CCO

Hanmi Financial Corp., the holding company of Hanmi Bank, announced that Randall G. Ewig has joined Hanmi and the Bank as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. As CCO, he will be responsible for the Bank’s loan portfolio, and will head all of the credit administrative departments, including loan operations.

Mr. Ewig has over 20 years of experience in Hanmi Bank Logocredit administrative positions with major banks on the West Coast. C. G. Kum, President and Chief Executive Officer, said, “As a veteran of some of the most prestigious banks, Randall has the skills to provide the leadership in credit administration to enable Hanmi to safely grow and to enter new markets.”

The new COO has enjoyed a successful career in banking. Prior to joining Hanmi, Mr. Ewig served HSBC Bank as Senior Vice President and Manager where he was responsible for approval and asset quality of loans for the bank’s branch sites in the western region and the state of Texas. He also served as Senior Vice President and Credit Administrator at Sanwa Bank/Bank of the West where he was responsible for the approval of middle market business loans.

Mr. Ewig obtained his Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Bachelor of Arts in Economics degrees from the University of Southern California.
