Joy Kamees Promoted in Greer State Bank

Greer State Bank is happy to announce the promotion of Joy Kamees to Commercial/Consumer Lender. She has been with the Bank for 17 years holding the position as a Loan Processor/Consumer Lender.

In her new role, Ms. Kamees will be responsible for managing and developing both Greer-State-Bank-logoa commercial and consumer loan portfolio. She will also be involved in calling efforts and organizing events for the community in the greater Greer area.

Jim Boyd, Senior VP of Commercial Lending stated that, “I am very excited that with the increase in loan demand, we are to the point of looking to hire strong lenders to help continue the bank’s success in recent years.” He said the Bank is excited for Ms. Kamees’ promotion since they are able to fill the Commercial/Consumer Lender position with a strong internal candidate. He added that Ms. Kamees knows the Bank’s customers, products, and their culture. Her 17 years with the Bank gives her a strong background in the banking industry and she has proven herself as a valuable asset to the Bank.

Ms. Kamees, her husband, Joe, and daughter, Cheyenne, live in Lyman and members of Discover Church in Simpsonville.
