Central Valley Community Bank announced a change in the Bank’s organization to include an Executive Vice President level in order to optimize management oversight based upon the growth of the company. The new leaders include David A. Kinross who was named Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. In his new role, Mr. Kinross is responsible for financial leadership, complex technical accounting, investment securities portfolio management, SEC reporting, budget development and management, bank security, and information technology administration.
Mr. Kinross has over 24 years of experience in financial leadership and accounting. He joined CVCB in 2006, and at present, manages over 17 team members in the accounting and information services departments. Prior to joining CVCB, he served in various capacities including Chief Financial Officer at PELCO, a security device company located in Clovis, California and New York. Prior to working with PELCO, he was Partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP in San Jose, California from 1990 to 2003. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive financial expertise covering complex technical accounting issues, securities and exchange reporting, budget development and management and information technology administration. Mr. Kinross is a Certified Public Accountant.
The new CFO is an active member of the community. Mr. Kinross currently serves as the Treasurer for the Sequoia Council Boy Scouts of America, and serves on the board of the Business Associates of the Fresno State Craig School of Business.
