Hudson Valley Holding Corp. Names Skorobohaty EVP

Hudson Valley Holding Corp. welcomes Scott J. Skorobohaty as its new Executive Vice President, Chief Banking Officer. In his new role, Mr. Skorobohaty will be responsible for providing the financial needs of small- and mid-sized businesses, professional services firms, not-for-profit organizations and individuals in New York.

Mr. Skorobohaty has nearly 20 years of experience in banking and real estate. “Scott has Scott Skorobohaty Hudson Valley Holding Corpdeveloped particular expertise in driving business development, creating and expanding product offerings, strengthening existing relationships and recruiting and managing teams of bankers,” said President and Chief Executive Officer, Stephen R. Brown. He added that Mr. Skorobohaty is a valuable addition to the team since they are strengthening their sales efforts with plans for future expansion and diversification of their product offerings.

Prior to joining Hudson Valley, Mr. Skorobohaty served as a Principal of The Vortex Group LLC, a commercial real estate company specializing in tenant representation in metro New York. In addition, he held various executive level positions and business development roles with BankUnited, N.A., Capital One and North Fork Bank. With these financial institutions, he led the development of sales strategies and created business development teams which resulted in significant growth of the companys’ balance sheet.

Mr. Skorobohaty received both his M.B.A. in Finance and his B.S. in Business Administration, Management from the University of Denver.
