U.S. Bank announced the promotion of Stacey Dodson to Commercial Banking Manager in its banking division in Portland, Oregon. In this capacity, Dodson will head a team of commercial bankers who are focused on strategic lending, depository, treasury management, capital markets and other services for mid-market companies in the Portland and Vancouver, Washington areas.
Dodson was most recently based in Bend, where she was Regional President for U.S. Bank Community Banking in Central and Eastern Oregon. She had direct responsibility for 21 retail branches, seven commercial banking locations and a private banking team. She has 30 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry, all with U.S. Bank. She started her career with U.S. Bank in 1984 where she was originally hired as a part-time teller but progressed through the ranks with increasing responsibilities, including Corporate Loan Training & Internship, Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager, and Community Banking Commercial Sales Manager.
Dodson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Speech Communications from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. She also achieved certification for Advanced Commercial Lending from the Western Banking School. At present, Dodson is a Board Member at KIDS Center and St. Charles Hospital Authority.
