Fairfield Capital Hires New Managing Director

Fairfield Capital Group announced that Fred Marchini has joined the business as Managing Director. In this capacity, Marchini will be responsible for capital markets activities and oversight of Fairfield Capital’s relationships with existing clients. He will be based in the company’s New York office.

Fred Marchini Fairfield Capital GroupA leasing and finance professional, Marchini has over 30 years of experience in all areas of the equipment leasing and finance industry.

Prior to joining Fairfield, Marchini served as Manager, Syndications at Pitney Bowes Credit Corporation, a domestic finance company.

Throughout his career, he has held executive positions with direct responsibilities, including senior business development, capital markets and financial advisory roles, at several major international banks and their affiliates.

Marchini has worked at Bank Hapoalim B.M.; Bank of Scotland; Barclays DeZoete Wedd, a division of Barclays Bank; and SMBC Leasing & Finance, Inc., a subsidiary of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.

Marchini’s transaction experience includes middle-market lease and loan transactions for as little as a few million dollars to highly-structured, cross-border and domestic lease and loan transactions for equipment or facilities costing in excess of $50 million. He also has experience with various asset classes typically financed in the market.

Marchini earned a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University.
