Jim Nelson Joins Horizon Community Bank as CLO

Horizon Community Bank announced that industry veteran Jim Nelson has joined the business as Senior Commercial Lending Manager. Based in the Bank’s new branch in Mesa, Arizona, Nelson will be in charge of managing commercial lending, along with growing its loan portfolio, managing customer relationships and promoting business banking products throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Jim Nelson Horizon Community BankNelson brings to his new role over 33 years of experience in various disciplines of lending and administration. He has an extensive background in growing deposits, implementing policies and infrastructures, handling due-diligence and compliance, and making key credit decisions.

He joins HCB from Goldwater Bank, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. Previously, he held senior leadership positions at Pinnacle Bank, Compass Bank, Wells Fargo, Chase Bank of Arizona, First Federal Bank and Community Bank of Arizona.

“I’m particularly excited that Horizon Community Bank is locally owned and operated. By helping it grow deposits and borrowers, I’m helping the very community that I live in because the dollars remain in our neighborhood. I’m a huge believer in local first,” remarked Nelson.

    Vito Caraccio Recruited as SVP at Five Star Bank

    Five Star Bank in New York announced the addition of Vito Caraccio to its team as Senior Vice President, Director of Business Banking. In this capacity, Caraccio will have oversight of small business lending, fee-based lines of business-related cash management and merchant services. He will also serve on the Bank’s Executive Loan Committee.

    Vito Caraccio Five Star BankCaraccio brings to his new role over 20 years of experience in the banking industry. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Banking Team Leader at First Niagara Financial Group in Rochester, New York.

    Prior to that, he was SVP at JPMorgan Chase and VP at KeyBank and FleetBoston Financial. Previous ventures include the Bank of New York in White Plains, New York, and Chemical Banking Corporation in New York City.

      Erol Kinkaid Hired as VP/CLO at Equitable Bank

      Equitable Bank announced the hiring of Erol Kinkaid as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer. Based in Omaha Nebraska, Kinkaid will manage his own portfolio and will focus on business development, commercial lending and community involvement.

      Erol Kinkaid Equitable BankKinkaid brings to his new role 10 years of experience in the banking industry. His areas of expertise include commercial lending, sales management, and small business lending.

      Prior to joining Equitable Bank, he served as a Vice President, Commercial Lending at United Republic Bank. In that role, he provided the banking needs of businesses with up to $45 million in annual sales. Before that, he held various leadership roles at US Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, and Target Corporation.

      A native of Kansas, Kinkaid has worked in the Omaha market since 2010 and volunteers his time in the local community. Currently, he serves as a Board Member for Heart Heroes, Inc., an organization that provides support to children and families affected by Congenital Heart Defects.

        Bruce Loeffelholz Joins FNB as Sr Lending Officer

        Oklahoma-based First National Bank & Trust Co. (FNB) welcomes Bruce Loeffelholz as Senior Lending Officer for their Shawnee, Firelake, and Holdenville locations. In his new role, Loeffelholz is responsible for supervising lenders in several branches and new business development and management of complex credit relationships with high net worth individuals and corporations/partnerships.

        Bruce Loeffelholz First National Bank & TrustLoeffelholz has over 25 years of experience in banking, bank regulation, and financial institution consulting. He specializes in commercial lending, business development, credit analysis, underwriting, special assets, loan review, and management of lending functions.

        Most recently, he served as CEO of Loeffelholz Financial Services, a consulting firm to banks. His previous experience includes senior roles at SpiritBank and Citywide Mortgage. He was also a Loan Review Specialist for FDIC.

          Bonnie Milke Tapped as VP/CLO at Fleetwood Bank

          Fleetwood Bank announced that Bonnie Milke has joined the company as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer. In this capacity, Milke is responsible for developing new business relationships, as well as maintaining existing ones, while working with commercial customers in structuring loans to meet their business lending needs.

          Bonnie Milke Fleetwood BankMilke brings to her new role over 35 years of experience in the banking industry, with the last 20 years focused in commercial lending. Most of her career was spent with National Penn Bank, where she last served as a Vice President/Commercial Lender.

          Milke has taken various business classes through AIB and RMA. She resides in Exeter, Pennsylvania and has been on the Board of Directors for Abilities in Motion for the last 21 years.
