PNC Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of William Brown as Senior Vice President. Based in Baltimore, Maryland, Brown joins the Bank’s senior secured lending team in the Mid-Atlantic region. He is in charge of business development with private equity firms and middle-market companies, originating asset-based and cash flow loans.
Brown brings to his new role 30 years of experience in the banking and finance industry. His areas of expertise include asset-based lending, financial structuring, commercial lending, and portfolio management.
Prior to joining PNC Bank, he spent ten years in BB&T Commercial Finance. He last served the company as a Senior Vice President, where he was responsible for originating new asset-based lending deals worth $2MM to $75MM for mid-size companies throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Previously, he was Vice President – Business Development at GE Capital.
Aside from his career, Brown is a Facilitator at the American Leadership Academy. He oversees lectures and training programs in Cabo San Lucas Mexico.
Brown obtained his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Washington and Lee University.
