
Republic Business Credit announced that William Kemp has joined the business as Vice President, Business Development Officer. In his new role, Kemp is responsible for driving new relations for the company in the Midwestern region and supporting businesses that need cash flow funding ranging from $250,000 to $10 million. He is based in Chicago.
“William is a proven sales professional who is well established in the Chicagoland marketplace,” said Robert Meyers, Chief Commercial Officer, Republic Business Credit.
Meyers added, “He is an exceptional relationship builder and is a professional who takes the time to fully understand a business’ needs and work with stakeholders to find the funding solution that is the best fit. He will be a key team member in building on our reputational strength in the region and we are all excited to have him on board.”
Prior to joining Republic Business Credit, Kemp served as a Business Development Officer at Bibby Financial Services, where he sourced transactions up to $1 million in facility size and supported the credit underwriting. During his leadership there, he won Bibby’s Sales Excellence Award in 2015.

Currently, Kemp is a Communications Co-Chair for the Chicago Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association and was previously a member of the same chapter’s Nextgen subcommittee.
Kemp earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
