Lender Associations

SBFI promotes and advocates for all commercial lenders to be involved and affiliated–both individually and corporately–with the appropriate lending trade association that best serves the needs of your lending segment and company.

Trade associations provide valuable services to lenders by providing a forum to exchange sutb_figuresinformation and ideas concerning the business of its members. Associations stand as advocates for the collective business of the industry and serves as the official voice for matters of common interests, particularly with pertinent government agencies and supervising regulators.

In addition, trade associations provide research on topics affecting the industry, such as economics, legislation and industry practices, and offer educational programs to help members with the professional development of their employees. Many associations host regular conferences and meetings that provide the latest information about industry concerns, and a place to meet peers, suppliers and regulators for a direct exchange of information.
